Mares 25XR AST First Stage — Extreme Reliability for Technical & Cave Diving The 25XR AST First Stage is a premium, highly reliable first stage regulator designed for technical divers , double tanks, or stage setups. Its innovative AST (Auto Sealing Technology) and CWD dry kit make it perfect for cold water and high-pressure diving environments. With intelligently positioned high-pressure (HP) and low-pressure (LP) ports, this first stage keeps hoses behind the diver, minimizing entanglement — ideal for cave diving , trimix , or other technical diving configurations .
